2017 Home decor trends have been set out as “refreshing and revitalizing.”  We have noted creative and mixed patterns are among the upcoming trends as well.  Faux materials are being used often as well, not just for eco friendly reasons… but for pocket friendly purposes as well.  More than ever going green is hitting home, and being wasteful is distasteful.

CAN ANYONE SAY TEXTURE? – It’s everywhere this year!  Texture is a great way to add dimension and interest to a space!  Living room… pillows ~ or kitchen… rustic back splash. You name it, there is a way to make the space stand out!

One trend that has been frosting the new year is ALL WHITE decor and surroundings.  While this may seem modern and sleek… We can’t imagine having kids around.  That would probably be a wise design choice if all your children (if any) have been raised and are living on their own.  Though, there is a clean and pure look to some of the white designs you see in magazines.  You better pray that someone doesn’t come into your home with mud on their shoes!
