St. George Residents Watch Disaster in the Mid West

13 May, 2011 (10:34) | Disaster, News

St. George residents watched in horror as states surrounding the mid west were met with disaster during the later part of April 2011. Tornados ripped through towns destroying homes and businesses while taking lives in its path. The devastation left residents picking through the pieces of what used to be their homes. Our hearts go out to those that were victims of Mother Nature’s fury last month. We feel blessed to live in this area that is free from tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, ice storms and other natural disasters. We understand and cherish how St. George remains a relatively safe area to live. There are occasional flash floods, lightning storms and massive heat, yet St. George continues to be an area that is free from extreme weather.
