The Washington County Utah Fair was a entertaining success this weekend. With a rock and roll theme celebrating the 60th anniversary of the fair, the festivities were complete with a Jim Morrison tribute and a Rock Band competition. The regular attractions such as the cute baby contest, carnival rides, contests and live entertainment were still a great part of this year’s blast. The Washington County Fair brings residents from St. George and surrounding areas such as Santa Clara, Hurricane, and Springdale which is near the famous Zion National Park. Near 140,000 residents call Washington county Utah home. Washington county is a beautiful area in the southwest corner of Utah that is marked by its unique red rocks and plentiful sunshine.
