• "SMARTFOILS" "Home Barrier Perforated" and "Home Barrier Non-Perforated" are multi-layered radiant barrier products. The "Home Barrier Non-Perforated" products’ inside layer is metalized PVC, with the outer layer being comprised of .000285" aluminum foil laminated with a fire retardant adhesive to 30 lb. natural kraft, reinforced with a tri-directional fiberglass and polyester scrim. The "Home Barrier Perforated" product is comprised of two layers of aluminum foil laminated to a layer of woven polyester with two layers of polyethylene. "Home Barrier Perforated" and "Home Barrier Non-Perforated" products are intended for use on the underside roof rafters, and for use with mass insulation. In new home construction applications, the "Home Barrier Perforated" product is recommended for use in "bonus rooms" or "knee walls" (walls facing hot/cold attic temperatures), on the outside of the wall. It is also recommended for use on all of the exterior walls and the ceiling, placed on the inside of the wall before the drywall is applied.

• "SMARTFOILS" "Home Barrier Expandable Multi-Layer" is just that, an expandable multi-layer radiant barrier product. The inside layer is a 1.4ml metalized PVC, with the outer layer consisting of .000285" aluminum foil laminated with a fire retardant adhesive to 30 lb. natural kraft, reinforced with a tri-directional fiberglass and polyester scrim. The layers expand when installed to form a reflective air space. "Home Barrier Expandable Multi-Layer" is suggested for use in attic radiant barrier applications.

• "SMARTFOILS" "Home Barrier RBI" and "Business Barrier RBI" (reflective bubble insulation) is a multipurpose insulation for residential, commercial and agricultural applications in roofs, floors and walls. "RBI" is available in double bubble and single bubble thicknesses, in white/foil or foil/foil facings. "RBI" is also available with an integrated tab, which eliminates the need for taping the seams. Just some of "RBI’s" many applications include: Radiant floor heating (slabs and floor joists), sheds, garage doors, crawl spaces, pre-engineered metal buildings, steel framed homes, metal roofs, poultry barns, and mini storage facilities. "RBI" can also serve as a vapor barrier when needed.

• "SMARTFOILS" "Business Barrier Retro-Reflector System" was developed primarily for the metal building industry. It offers the ideal solution for the retrofitting and upgrading of insulation systems in
  
  
  
  existing metal buildings, as well as in new building construction. This exclusive system is offered in both white and foil facings, and utilizes our "Business Barrier RBI" product (with integrated tape tab), in conjunction with "Clip & Pin" components. These components are designed to facilitate the easy installation of the product to the lip of the roof purlins and side walls. This eliminates the need for additional framing or other alterations to complete the retrofit process. The result is increased occupant comfort, reduced sound transmission and lower heating/cooling costs!





• "SMARTFOILS" "Tuff-Tape" is available in 2" and 3" widths, in both white and foil facings. This reinforced tape employs acrylic adhesives, which are known to increase in strength by hardening as time progresses. This serves to solidify the adhesive bonding power of the tape to the surface it is adhered to. "SMARTFOILS" "Tuff-Tape" Is used to accommodate the easy installation of "SMARTFOILS" "Home Barrier" and "Business Barrier" quality products in every conceivable application where stapling is not permitted.
